In 1999 she joined in the ensemble of CBS soap drama Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut came by playing a minor part in Girl 6 (1996) then appeared in the episodes New York Undercover and The District. Navedo played a role as a co-star on Double Take (2001), an action-packed comedy. She also appeared in Washington Heights (2002). Navedo was the character Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC show Law & Order from 2001 to 2004. In the following years, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages as well as Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in several films, including El Cantante and Remember Me. From 2011 to 2013, Navedo played recurring roles on How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Superfast! is a film in which Navedo starred. the parody of The Fast and the Furious movie series that debuted in the year 2015. Navedo began her acting career with daytime soaps.
